Your Questions, Answered.

  • Our main services are held every Sunday at 10am. We currently meet at 59 Pentecost Road. However - praise God - we’ll soon be moving to our new permanant venue located at 10 Albert Street, Rangiora

  • Foundation Church is currently an independent church. It did not come from another church or break away from an existing church, and as such does not operate as an extension of a network or mainline denomination. It was organically started by one planting family in obedient response to a heavenly calling.

That being said, the pastors regularly enjoy strong and healthy connections with leaders from other churches in Rangiora. The Lead Pastor also carries a vision to launch a new network of Christian churches called WSCC (Word and Spirit Christian Churches), intended to draw together like-minded independent congregations who share a commitment to a Word-and-Spirit ministry environment.

While structure is important, a network or denomination is not the only means by which oversight and accountability can be established within a church. Those who think otherwise should consider the many ministries recorded in Scripture that began through obedience to God alone, and ask the same question Jesus posed: “Was the baptism of John from heaven, or from men?” (cf. Matthew 21:25; Mark 11:30).

  • At Foundation Church, we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the necessity of being led by the Lord in all ministry, life, and work. We also believe that the Word of God is to be taught systematically, and that preaching should lay forth the full counsel of the Lord—not mere opinion or well-intended ideas. Our desire at Foundation Church is to bring these two pursuits together. We believe this is what makes Foundation Church unique.

We believe in preaching the Word and moving in the Holy Spirit. This is how God transforms nations.

  • Foundation Church is led by the Lead Pastor and his wife, and is governed through a plurality of elders. This eldership includes the Lead Pastor and functions within a collective governance model. The church trust is managed by a mixture of elders and non-elders. In addition, external oversight roles are in the process of being established.
